Wetting Agent

Soil wetters reduce the surface tension of the soil so the water soaks in and most importantly it coats each soil particle, so the next time water is applied, it will soak into the soil straight away and increase the water holding capacity of the soil.

Ezi Wet®'s main function is to make the water soak into the soil rather than running off the surface. Many soils become water repellent and are referred to as being hydrophobic.

This happens as organic matter builds up on the outside of the soil particles and occurs naturally in the soil, particularly after long periods of hot dry weather.
